Getting Started at Brandywine CrossFit
Welcome to Brandywine CrossFit! Please take a few minutes to read about our facility, culture, policies, and procedures.
What to Bring
On the day of your first intro class, please bring:
- Completed membership paperwork (visit Box Dox page for all paperwork)
- Your payment information
- Dressed to train
- Towel (if desired)
Other items that will be very helpful in the future to bring with you to the box:
- Speed Rope, aka Double Under rope, found online for about $10
- Athletic Tape
- CrossFit/Knee-High Socks (for rope climbs and box jumps)
Membership at BWCF
Each workout of the day (WOD) is a 1-hour class performed in a group setting. Experienced CrossFitters are welcome to join directly into our regular classes. All new CrossFitters must complete our Intro Course before joining a regular class.
Once you have either completed the Intro Course or are already an experienced CrossFitter, we offer the following memberships:
Fundamentals of CrossFit Classes: $170 (1st month)
- Four Introduction Courses, PLUS
- Remainder of First Month's Classes
Unlimited CrossFit Classes: $140/month
Active Military/Student/First Responders: $100/month
10 CrossFit Class Card: $150
Walk-ins (Single Class): $20
One-on-One Personal Training: $75-$90/hour
Classes at BWCF
Each class session lasts one hour and starts with a guided warm-up. Before the workout, coaches will instruct athletes on the finer points of the movements and allow for technique refinement and practice. Once the workout begins, our coaches guide the group to the highest level of intensity possible, relative to each athlete.

Initially, if you have never taken an introductory/fundamentals course at a CrossFit, this must happen. Our Introduction/Fundamentals course is 4 to 5 classes long, each about an hour or less. They are designed to teach the essential movements of CrossFit while incorporating a mini WOD (workout of the day) to ease you into the CrossFit mode of training while assessing your personal strengths, weaknesses and goals . These are scheduled by appointment. After finishing these classes, you are welcome to attend any WOD class. The cost of the first month is $170 because it includes those intro classes (limited to 4 people) plus the remainder of that first month for unlimited classes. After that the cost for unlimited classes is $140.

- Complete your Fundamentals of CrossFit Classes and select your best-fitting CrossFit training package.
- Train CrossFit.
- Keep training CrossFit and exceed your greatest expectations and hopes for personal fitness.
